To achieve a seamless transition to the second phase of Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprises, Niger Delta, LIFE-ND Project, the National Project Coordinator, Engr. Dr. Sanni Abiodun, on October 28, 2025, in Port Harcourt, encouraged members of staff to embrace teamwork, dedication and capacity upgrade to achieve set objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Abiodun said this while addressing the Monitoring and Evaluation, Knowledge Management and Communication Officers, as they collate acceptable report for the 5th International Fund for Agricultural Development, IFAD\u2019s Supervision Mission coming up at the heels of Additional Financing, AF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advising the officers, he encouraged them to pursue integrity and excellence to cope with the emerging standards world over, insisting on hard work and skill upscaling to achieve the efficiency which the project deserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf the Project does well, IFAD can ask for continuation. IFAD has plans for the second phase of the Project. The finance is ready. The actualization is between you and me, indeed, all of us\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He attributed the delay in early implementation of the Additional Financing to \u201cNational requirements\u201d and promised to rejig or redesign the project for seamless transition to the second phase, all other things being equal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of room for improvement in the project. That\u2019s what I want in this Additional Financing. We\u2019ll be more proactive at the National Office, but we cannot work without the states having our dreams and aspirations for the success of all\u201d, he emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the sake of synergy and success, he implored all staffers to report all challenges and concerns to the national office for resolution, noting that little problems unsolved might be a catalyst to disaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He promised to put staffers\u2019 welfare on the front burner, adding that capable Assistants will be added to the Monitoring and Evaluation and Knowledge Management components as the project progresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responding, the M&E Coordinator, Dr. Ian Gbinigie, was appreciative of the participants\u2019 compliance and responsiveness as he advised for more commitments to the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In their respective feedbacks, the Abia State M&E Officer, Mr. Azubuike Ogbonna appealed for teamwork and commensurate remuneration as the Cross River State KMCO, Christian Ekpor, on behalf of Knowledge Management Officers, asked for quality equipment for acceptable knowledge management materials for the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
